Anthony Sparzo

Anthony Sparzo is the Co-founder of Phoenix Rising Interventions & Court Advocacy Services. Anthony has worked in the addiction field since 2010 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Brandman University. Anthony has been facilitating interventions since 2012 and is a Certified Intervention Professional through the Pennsylvania State Board (CIP). Anthony Specializes in interventions, Case Management and Court Advocacy, and believes that the option for rehabilitation over incarceration is far too often overlooked.

Anthony has firsthand knowledge of addiction, as he has been in recovery from both alcohol and heroin addiction since 2007. Anthony has been able to incorporate both his personal and professional education with social work skills to create a highly effective program of recovery. Anthony has collaborated with many clients, helping them rediscover their love for life and their place in that life. Anthony has seen great success in building proof of rehabilitation, therefore avoiding incarceration for many of his clients seeking recovery.

Anthony believes that each client should be treated with respect and understanding while instilling hope, regardless of the circumstances that brought them into treatment. Anthony feels that recovery is complex, has many layers, challenges and rewards. Anthony’s experience has taught him that he must be willing to guide clients through their personal journey in order to evolve out of the darkness of addiction into the light of recovery. In his free time Anthony lives life with his wife and partner Eryn and enjoys the company of his children and grandchildren. In recovery he now enjoys experiences that eluded him for years during his addiction; biking, concerts, baseball and basketball games, hiking, camping, and many days on the beach.
